    Dear Stan:
    Thank you for your message. It was timely and offers hope that the current virus will be overcome – but much quicker.
    My personal experience with poliomyelitis began in the 1930’s when most treatment was not really well understood and prevention was not though to be possible. Like many others I always saved my dimes to put in the bucket when I went to the Saturday movie. US dimes have the likeness of FDR which is appropriate.
